About Me

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to review my work.

I moved to Greenville, S.C. over 30 years ago to study Graphic Design at Bob Jones University and I have worked in the Marketing industry ever since.

Throughout my career, I have been employed at various advertising agencies, including Henderson Advertising, Gibbons + Peck Marketing Communications, Jackson Marketing, and most recently, Erwin-Penland Advertising which is now known as EP+Co.

During my time at Erwin-Penland, I was part of a dynamic team responsible for creating promotional content for Verizon’s sponsorships of various professional leagues including the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB. Our team was involved in diverse projects, including print advertising, environmental signage, non-traditional marketing, and experiential branding. In addition to the work we did for Verizon, we also produced award-winning campaigns for other clients including Hansgrohe, The Greenville Drive, United Way of Greenville, Denny's, Hanes, and Dunkin’ Donuts.

In 2015, I founded my own company, Southern Cross Creative. I worked with clients directly and also collaborated with other agencies, such as Fierce Strategy & Creative. Later on, I shifted my focus towards commercial photography fulfilling a long-time dream of becoming a professional photographer.

Currently, I am the Marketing Manager at City Arsenal, overseeing all aspects of their brand communications. I also am responsible for managing their E-commerce website and planning events. My skills include Art Direction, Digital Marketing, Branding, and Photography. I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign, and frequently use Microsoft Office. For video projects, I use Adobe Premiere and Premiere Rush.

Outside of work, my interests include spending time with my family, outdoor activities, and collecting books. I am also a watch enthusiast with a growing collection of digital and mechanical timepieces.

Volunteering is important to me, and over the years I have served as a youth minister, baseball coach, notary public, and senior member of the Civil Air Patrol.

My family and faith in God are what matter to me most. In everything I do, I hope to honor and glorify the One who gives my life meaning and purpose.
